The Vivitar 35EF is a late-1970s 35mm compact with a 38mm f/2.8 lens and automatic exposure set by a selenium-cell meter around the lens. Focusing is by zone symbols, and the built-in flash pops up at the press of a button. A simple, robust point-and-shoot from the era before autofocus.
