The Olympus E-500 (2005) is an 8-megapixel DSLR for the original Four Thirds system, with a Kodak-made CCD sensor that is still liked for its colour rendering. Like other Olympus DSLRs of the period it has the Supersonic Wave Filter to shake dust off the sensor. Its Four Thirds lenses can also be used on Micro Four Thirds bodies such as the E-M1 Mk III via the Four Thirds to M4/3 adapter, keeping autofocus.
